The Panasonic Lumix G7 is an extremely popular consumer grade camera. There are impressive specs for the budget price. I have had the camera for over a year now, and I have not had an problems. I will talk about the usability, and not just the specs. The g7 is mainly used for video, but can also be used as a picture camera
The screen is one of the best screens I have seen on a budget camera. It is very high resolution for the price of the camera. The touch feature is amazing. It is extremely responsive and accurate. The built in WiFi is nice for certain scenarios, but will not be used much. It is fast, and does its job. The resolutions are all most people will need. The only ones I use is 1080P 30, 60 and 4k 60 frames per second. The 4k is amazing, and very crisp. There are no issues for the video quality. This is one of the main selling points for the g7.
Photography is a different story. I found the camera has issues in low light when taking pictures. In the woods, many of the pictures I took were blurry. The kit lense struggles in low light. The lowest aperture is 3.5. Night photography is above average. I enjoy using this camera for astrophotography.

The menu system is amazing. It is quick, clear, and overall very clean. I learned it quick, and I fell I have a good idea about almost every feature the g7 has to offer. The Panasonic G7 is a direct descendant of the first ever mirrorless camera. Yet, despite this, the last thing it's trying to be is a mirrorless camera. Instead it's trying to be a non-specific interchangeable lens camera: a camera where you don't have to think about whether it has a mirror or not. Its photo and video quality is quite good for its price class, especially if you spring for something a bit better than the kit lens. Photos have somewhat better-than-average dynamic range for a Four Thirds size sensor, colors are quite accurate, and its low light JPEG photos remain decently detailed through ISO 1600. If you process raw you can get even more detail out of the low-light photos, though like most of its competitors you still lose a lot of highlight and shadow detail as light drops and ISO sensitivity setting rises.
